Nobody took the baby away from the maternity ward for a long time. It happens. They refused and, as luck would have it, no one expressed a desire. So, the baby got stuck there and was temporarily assigned to a free crib. But, as you understand, he was not very satisfied with it, and he screamed so that his ears were blocked.
And one day he fell silent. And the nurse was scared, ran in to see what happened to him and did not suffocate, God forbid, from such a scream, she was surprised to see…
She saw that a big gray cat, everyone’s favorite, was snuggling up to him. That’s just he didn’t let anyone stroke him and categorically refused to leave.
Yes, of course everyone knew that a cat in the department could not do anything at all. But try to explain it to the cat and everyone who fed him. So, despite all the prohibitions and death threats, the gray cat was like a full-time employee with the function of a psychotherapist for employees.
The nurse tried to drive the fluffy one out of the crib, but the baby clung to him with his hands, and screamed wildly when they tried to separate them. The whole department ran to look at this picture, and even the stern head, swearing terribly and promising to fire everyone, came up and stroked the gray father.
So they lay together. The cat went about his business for a while and had a snack, and the baby waited meekly for the return of the newly-made father.
And then there were those who wanted to take him away, but, as it turned out, he was not going to go to any without his four-legged father.
– He’s sucking his tail! – the adoptive parents shouted.
–Well, it sucks,» the nurses agreed sadly. And what to do? As soon as you take it, the baby starts screaming and suffocates.
– In short, the story became known outside the hospital and, in addition to all the staff who came to see, take pictures and bring gifts to the fluffy father, completely different couples began to come.
They have long agreed to take both. So the cat didn’t want to. You can laugh, but the baby was not taken away until the cat showed consent to go to the hands of new parents.
So the two of them were taken away. The husband was carrying a cat in his arms, and the woman was carrying a baby. Everyone got what they wanted. The cat put his paws around the man’s neck and put his head on his left shoulder.
The nurses watched this picture with surprise.
The abusive and formidable head doctor, who came out with everyone accompanying the couple, looked at it and said:
– They will be good parents, I’m telling you that for sure. I know that. I have five of these furry brats. They know exactly who is the best.
And suddenly, realizing that he had talked too much, he frowned and began to swear at everyone, because it was necessary not to stare, but to work, damn it.
