This story happened to us when I had to leave the children with my husband for a few hours. I wasn’t particularly worried, because a man is an adult, responsible person… That’s what I thought before inzi dent. I urgently had to run for an urgent matter. I couldn’t leave my children with anyone except my husband, because then it was a day off, all my friends and neighbors were on the road. So, without suspecting anything, I left the children with my husband and went on business. I was away for only 1.5 hours, but when I got home, I just couldn’t believe my eyes. The whole house was covered in some kind of sticky goo. I walked forward with fear.

In the kitchen I found the girls sitting on the floor next to our electric samovar. Now I’ll explain to you where we got the samovar from. My husband loves old things: he is a big fan of vintage and antiques. A few years ago, he found an electric samovar in some old shop. After that, we often used this find: almost every weekend my husband’s parents came to us, and we all enjoyed a family tea party together. I didn’t understand why the samovar was in the middle of the room, why everything was sticky, and why my daughters were left unattended. I asked the girls.

It is worth noting that one of them is 4, the second is 6. It turns out that my housewives decided to eat cocoa. They apparently thought for a long time and decided to pour boiling water over the cocoa powder, but when there was no water at hand, a bottle of milk from the refrigerator went into use. One girl was not taken into account: milk foams when heated. All the milk, of course, escaped from the samovar, and the cocoa added there was responsible for the effect. The girls decided to fix the situation. A tablecloth, curtains, a fluffy rug — they all used as a rag, but not the guanchirka itself that hangs by the stove. Now I can’t get used to the idea that my husband just fell asleep while his daughters were doing chemicals in the kitchen. He tells me with such an imperturbable look, they say, what could have gone wrong. And if the girls were electrocuted? And he was sleeping peacefully. In short, I don’t know. Now I’m afraid to leave my children with their own father.
