When the doctors examined the woman in labor, they were just confused at first.

An ambulance delivered a young pregnant woman to one of the hospitals in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro. Doctors who did not expect anything unusual did not yet know that they would have to deal with a unique case. When the doctors examined the woman in labor, they were just confused at first: she was seven months pregnant, but something was literally squeezing the baby out.

The mystery quickly cleared up: 25-year-old Elena Sedova was waiting for triplets. The two top girls literally pushed their sister out with their own weight. For several days, Elena felt a strange movement in her stomach, but hoped that the birth would not come very soon.

Unfortunately, the little Liqueur was born in the seventh month. Tiny and weak, she weighed only 950 grams. The girl was immediately placed in an incubator, and the doctors prepared for the birth of two more babies. But then, to her great surprise, Lena’s contractions stopped.

Doctors had to make a difficult choice. Usually, if twins are born with a long break, an hour later the birth is artificially stimulated. But this time experts doubted: the two girls were even smaller than their sister. At such an early date, they could simply not survive. And then the doctors decided to wait.

In order not to risk the children’s health, Lena had to stay in bed. She couldn’t even hug her older girl. The woman was so afraid for her babies that she tried to move as little as possible. So a day, two, a week passed… two weeks. Three… Doctors have already asked for advice from colleagues from all over the world — there was nothing like this in their practice.

38 days later, when the little Liqueur had already grown to 1.5 kg, Elena suddenly felt very weak and agitated. The doctors examined him again and decided that the time had come. On the same day, two wonderful and healthy girls were born — Zlata and Stefania. And Lena was finally able to hold her three babies to her chest.

A year and a half later, Liqueria, who was half the size of her sisters at birth, is now not inferior to them in anything: all three are healthy, active and ready for new unusual achievements.
