The teacher of one of the American schools, Kristen Williams, at her age was not yet married and had no children. But once, while in India, she met a girl named Munni there, she had a huge scar on her forehead and because of him, no one wanted to adopt her.

Kristen realized that she would not go home without the baby, and after a while she adopted her. At first, Munni was very closed and shy, but the woman still found an approach to her and was able to melt her heart.

The team was very inspired by the act of this kind woman and we decided to share this wonderful story with you.

A few years later, Kristen adopted another baby girl named Durga. The baby was found in a landfill and in her still short life she has suffered a lot. Her face was disfigured, she practically had no nose left, presumably because of insects and stray animals that the baby encountered while living on the street.

Once someone published the story of this family on social networks, then all this was covered on television. So many people found out about Kristen and her daughters and wanted to help them.

Plastic surgeons from a local hospital offered to perform surgery for Munni for free. Now there is no longer a big and terrible scar on the girl’s forehead, but a barely noticeable stripe remains.

And Durga decided to have the operation at an older age, and so far she has been fitted with an aesthetic prosthesis, with which she is absolutely no different from other children.

But most likely for girls, appearance has remained in the background compared to the changes that have occurred in their lives. It is thanks to Christie that the girls have become happy and are now living the carefree life of an ordinary child.

This woman gave them warmth, affection, care and love, and we hope she will inspire many people to do good deeds.
