Hannah Monjoy from the US state of Utah published an unusual and very touching video in which she addressed her son, who was given to another family immediately after birth. The girl did not plan to post this personal video, but it can help draw attention to the practice of open adoption.
Hannah became pregnant at the age of 18 from her lover, 20–year-old Cade. At first, the couple was happy with the news, but later realized that they would not be able to raise a child. And then the young people made a mutual decision to use the open adoption program, which is popular in the United States.
On a special dating site for biological parents and adoptive parents, Hannah found a suitable family – Emily and Brad Marsh. The couple had already raised one child and made a good impression on the girl. In addition, Brad and Emily lived in the same state near Hannah’s house.
