It was summer. I was working in a cosmetics store at the time. Every day I saw a teenage boy sitting down near the store.
He looked about 10 years old – no more. My colleagues and I decided to invite him inside to cover himself.
You know, many people despise beggars, considering them scammers, but this guy turned out to be surprisingly kind, friendly and open.
His name was Kostya. Kostya said that he lives with his grandmother, his father left the family, and his mother died. There was also an older sister, but she got married and went to another city. He kept us in the back room until closing time. Then he went home.
The next day, the boy reappeared on the threshold of the shop. Kostya was holding two buns, juice, and a pack of seeds. He said hello and handed it all to us with the words:
«That’s all I can thank you for.»…
